We are calling for brief and incisive commentaries on a broad range of topics relating to Philippine foreign relations, including but not limited to:

· Foreign economic relations
· Migration and overseas employment
· External defense and security
· People-to-people ties
· Styles and approaches in Philippine diplomacy
· Cultural diplomacy
· Bilateral relations with various countries
· Philippine participation in multi-lateral organizations
· Relevance of international law, conventions and norms
· Global trends and futures

Submissions are subject to the following guidelines:


(1) Commentaries must not exceed 1500 words in length
(2) A (max.) 75-word abstract must be included
(3) A one-line bio information of the author must be included
(4) Contributors with low English language standards and readability scores may be advised to have their work edited by professional editors before being considered.


FNPFP welcomes commentaries and op-eds on Philippine foreign relations and foreign policy that

(1) address a contemporary issue of importance to the Philippines
(2) are facts-based and grounded in solid research
(3) bring little-known information and perspectives on issues to Filipino readers who otherwise may have little access to them
(4) provide specific and well-argued policy recommendations
